Key Responsibilities

As an Experienced Customer Service Representative, you'll play a critical role in delivering exceptional service to our client's customers. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Handling incoming calls and making outbound follow-ups as needed, updating phone status accordingly
  • Navigating multiple systems, including phone software, documentation tools, and online resources
  • Maintaining clear and accurate records of calls and actions
  • Responding to inquiries via phone and email about COBRA, billing eligibility for insurance plans, and general questions about policies and payments
  • Providing excellent communication skills, professionalism, and a courteous attitude at all times

Schedule and Location

This is a temporary position requiring a 3-month commitment, with strong potential for hire. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:30AM-5:00PM. While this position is primarily remote, you must be flexible and available to report on-site if needed. Office locations include Rochester, Buffalo, Syracuse, and Utica.

Pay and Benefits

The pay rate for this position is $16.29/hr, with the potential to increase to $18.22/hr upon hire. arenaflex offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as a 401(k) retirement plan.

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • 1-2 years of customer service or call center experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to navigate multiple systems and software applications
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience in the healthcare industry or with medical and benefits plans

  • Knowledge of COBRA and billing eligibility for insurance plans
  • Certification in customer service or a related field
  • Bilingual or multilingual skills
