Senior SEO Content Specialist (BR-PT)
Your mission Odds Scanner is looking for a Brazilian Portuguese-speaking Senior SEO Content Specialist to join our remote full-time team focused on the sports betting industry. If you’re looking for an opportunity to grow in a lively environment where you will be involved in a lot of different projects and campaigns, this is the right place for you. The regulated sports betting market is one of the fastest-growing industries, and we want you to help us find our footing in this challenging but exciting endeavor. In this role, you will be doing a lot of experiments and testing different strategies and executions. Not all of them will be successful, but we’re looking for someone who is willing to learn, is comfortable with the unknown and has an ability to execute on our short, medium and long-term goals. The ideal candidate for this position is someone who has strong writing skills, solid understanding of SEO, lives and breathes iGaming, can adapt on the fly and is interested in growing within the company. The Senior SEO Content Specialist will be in charge of organic search performance for important projects in Portuguese speaking markets. Leading decisions related to content strategy, management, and overall on-site optimisations.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement comprehensive website content plans aligned with internal SEO guidelines and business objectives; Create detailed content briefs outlining a good structure for each page using the right components to achieve the best possible optimization score; Implement internal link structures to allow search engines to crawl all pages properly and identify what are the core pages for each website; Execute content audits to identify improvement opportunities and implement performance-enhancing on-page solutions; Conduct competitive analysis to spot market trends and continuously stay ahead of organic search competitors; Collaborate with Technical and Off-Page teams to ensure the overall SEO strategy is appropriately aligned with internal guidelines and Google Search Essentials; Provide feedback to SEO content writers and editors when necessary.
Requirements
Fluency in Portuguese (Brazil) at a mother thong level; At least 5 years of SEO experience, preferably content focused, ideally in the iGaming or Sports industry; Knowledge about essential SEO concepts (e.g. on-page components, internal linking, cannibalization, topical authority, knowledge graph, search ranking systems); Familiar with G Suite apps (docs, sheets); Excellent organizational capacity to handle multiple responsibilities and deliver tasks on time; Experience with agile methodologies is a plus; Ability to work independently, but willingness to learn.
