Video Editor (Home Improvement Industry – Windows & Doors)
Video Editor (Home Improvement Industry – Windows & Doors) We are looking for an experienced Video Editor (minimum 3 years of experience) to support our growing marketing team in the Home Improvement industry (Windows & Doors). This role focuses on postproduction only. All raw video footage, audio files, and creative briefs will be provided. We are looking for someone who can transform our materials into polished, engaging content for digital platforms. Project Scope •Edit short-form videos (15–60 seconds) for social media
- Occasionally edit longer-form content (3+ minutes) for YouTube and similar platforms
- Deliver videos in multiple formats:
o Vertical (9:16) o Square (1:1) o Landscape (16:9)
- Add basic motion graphics:
o Animated subtitles o Lower thirds o Simple transitions o Intro/outro bumpers Required Skills
- Minimum 3 years of professional video editing experience
- Advanced proficiency in:
o Adobe Premiere Pro or o Final Cut Pro
- Basic motion graphics skills (Adobe After Effects is a plus)
- Strong understanding of pacing, storytelling, and social media optimization
- Ability to follow brand guidelines and creative briefs carefully
- Reliable turnaround times
Workflow & Timeline
- Work will be project-based (per delivery)
- All footage and audio will be provided
- Expected turnaround time: 7–10 days after receiving complete materials and brief
- Estimated workload: 15–20 hours per month to start
- Opportunity for growth as volume increases
Compensation
- $45 USD per hour

- Experience editing testimonial videos or before/after transformation content
- Knowledge of performance-driven video (ads, hooks, retention strategies)
- Understanding of branding consistency across platforms
- Ability to repurpose one main video into multiple social variations
- Basic color correction and audio enhancement skills
- Familiarity with social media trends and short-form storytelling
