Math Content Reviewer, gt.school (Remote) - $100,000/year USD

Remote-first Full-time Now hiring

You're the kind of middle-school math specialist who can detect an incorrect denominator across multiple browser tabs. You've worked with grades 4–8 as a teacher or tutor (or possess comparable insight and expertise), you provide feedback students can genuinely act on, and you refuse to accept "good enough" in any material that will shape student understanding. We're developing an AI-driven math content system that delivers questions, articles, and videos at significant volume, but we reject the idea that scale has value if mathematical accuracy or instructional clarity suffers. The broader field prioritizes "produce more." Our focus is "deliver better." Your role serves as the human checkpoint preventing thousands of learners from encountering an AI's overconfident errors, vague explanations, or quietly compromised standards. This position centers on rigorous quality control of AI-produced middle school mathematics content: verifying accuracy, reasoning, developmental appropriateness, and teaching quality; identifying conceptual pitfalls, unclear phrasing, and faulty logic; and generating precise, organized feedback that enables rapid correction by downstream teams. This is detail-oriented work demanding high expectations, careful observation, and absolute refusal to allow mathematically flawed or pedagogically damaging material to pass. You'll function as the last safeguard in the content workflow before publication, examining material provided through spreadsheets or proprietary tools and converting your assessments into clear issue documentation. If you can work efficiently without sacrificing thoroughness, flag problems without verbose explanations, and prioritize student outcomes over diplomatic language toward algorithms, this role deserves your consideration. What You Will Be Doing

  • Examining AI-generated mathematics questions, articles, and videos to detect problems related to mathematical correctness, academic standards, pedagogical effectiveness, and developmental fit, then delivering precise actionable feedback that allows another team to remediate content prior to student exposure.

Math Content Reviewer Key Responsibilities

  • Confirm that AI-produced mathematics instructional content undergoes thorough quality verification for mathematical correctness, academic integrity, and teaching effectiveness.

Basic Requirements

  • You hold a university degree in Math Education (distinct from a degree solely in Mathematics)
  • You possess a minimum of 4 years of professional experience teaching, tutoring, or developing EdTech curricula with a math focus for grades 3–8
  • You are presently located in the US
