Responsibilities

As a Remote Healthcare Customer Service Representative, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Performing PCP Change/Provider Lookup to ensure seamless transitions for our clients' members or customers
  • Looking up Medical Benefits, including benefit maximums, copay/coinsurances, Prior Authorization pre-requisite, and coverage to provide accurate and timely information
  • Reviewing Ancillary Benefits, such as Dental, Vision, Over the Counter, etc., to ensure comprehensive coverage
  • Processing claims inquiries, including resolving issues related to billing, transactions, and premium inquiries
  • Answering enrollment/disenrollment inquiries, grievances/complaints, and managing LEP inquires and disputes
  • Assisting with material requests, such as ID cards, Large/Brail print materials, and Catalogs
  • Providing self-help options, including member portal access and local locations to pharmacies, OTC, and Specialist
  • Utilizing strong written and oral communication skills to effectively communicate with clients, customers, and team members

Experience Required for Your Success

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • At least a High School diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 18 months Call center experience, with a strong background in healthcare a plus
  • Minimum of 2 years Computer Experience in a work environment, with proficiency in software applications and systems
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, with the ability to display empathy and care
  • Dedicated area to work from in your home, with a reliable internet connection (50 Mb/s download speed and 10 Mb/s upload speed)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong commitment to customer satisfaction
