Work Environment

Our telehealth work setting promotes flexibility, allowing licensed counselors to work from the comfort of their own homes while connecting with clients across California. We provide the necessary tools and resources for teletherapy, including a secure platform compliant with HIPAA regulations. Counselors enjoy a weekday schedule, from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, offering a balanced work-life integration that is especially important in the mental health field.

Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor at Gotham Enterprises, your daily responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting virtual therapy sessions with individual clients and small groups, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for open dialogue.
  • Employing evidence-based psychological techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to effectively address clients' diverse mental health needs.
  • Maintaining thorough and timely clinical documentation to track client progress and treatment plans, while ensuring confidentiality and compliance with state regulations.
  • Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of mental health professionals, including psychiatrists and social workers, to develop comprehensive treatment strategies tailored to each client.
  • Assisting clients in navigating and accessing additional mental health resources, community support services, and follow-up care as necessary.

Patient Population / Client Focus You will work with a diverse clientele, including adolescents, adults, and older adults facing a variety of mental health challenges, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Your role will allow you to make a significant impact in the lives of individuals who may be struggling and seeking guidance on their mental health journeys.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for this position will possess:

  • A Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
  • A valid Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) license in the state of California.
  • A minimum of two years of clinical experience providing therapeutic services.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with proficiency in telehealth technology and practices.

Preferred Experience Experience in specific therapeutic modalities, such as trauma-informed care or family therapy, is preferred but not mandatory. Candidates with a background in telehealth or virtual counseling will be given special consideration, as this role heavily relies on technology to facilitate therapeutic interactions.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 115,000 to 120,000 per year, commensurate with experience, in addition to a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, paid time off, and retirement plan options.
